Most patterns worked diagonally, are called corner to corner, or C2C. This, however, is a very specific stitch pattern, and when made in a chunky yarn such as Bernat Blanket Perfect Phasing, I didn’t like the big holes the pattern made.

After doing a bit of research and experimenting with different stitches, I liked the clean, uncomplicated look of the single crochet the most - it really made the yarn and the beautiful colour transition do the talking.

The pattern gives detailed instructions on how to customize the size to any size you want. It also includes a photo-tutorial (photo’s are placed on the last page, so that you can print the instructions without the photos).
