The pineapple symbolizes warmth, welcome, friendship and hospitality, all things I hope my family and guests feel when brought to my table. In this reversible placemat, three pineapple motifs are joined, and then a small border added. While the pineapples themselves are fairly simple, the motif border is a bit complex. This is definitely a project for an experienced stitcher.
