Finished Size 8” thickness, 11 (23)” length, 22 (46)” circumference.
Yarn Anzula, For Better or Worsted, Worsted / 10 ply, 80% Merino, 10% Cashmere goat, 10% Nylon; 200 yards / 114 grams: Charcoal (MC) 2 skeins, Key Lime (CC1) 1 skein, and Au Natural (CC2) 1 skein.
Needles Size 6 (4.0 mm): 24” circular (cir). Adjust needle sizes, if necessary, to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); tapestry needle; size F (3.75 mm) or G (4.0 mm) crochet hook and waste yarn for provisional CO if using the crocheted provisional method.
Gauge 20.5 sts and 25 rounds = 4” (10 cm) in stranded St st. Work gauge in stranded motif, as some knitters work stranded at a smaller gauge than with only one color. Please, keep gauge consistent throughout, you may need to go down 2 needle sizes for the solid colour sections!
Notes This is a pattern for a stranded and striped knit cowl. It is worked, in the round, from the bottom up and beginning with a provisional CO. There are wide picot folded hems and the cowl is joined by grafting or using a 3-needle BO to make a double thick tube.
