The Perfectly Picot Shawlette is a fast, fun knit. It is the perfect use of that single skein of fabulous fingering weight yarn that you have had stashed for a while. It needs approximately 400 yds, but has been made with as little at 380 yds.

The shawlette is made from the bottom up beginning with a Picot Cast On (instructions included). The cast on is a bit time consuming but totally worth it. I always think of it as the first few rows of knitting.

The body is made in short rows that do not required wraps or picking up wraps.
