A unique and functional shawl with an abstract design, inspired by the Periodic Table of the Elements brings together my passion for knitting and science.

The shawl is worked in one piece - a combination of non-standed, stranded and intarsia colorwork in stockinette stitch. A single crochet border applied after knitting.

Finished size: 129 x 82 cm after blocking, before adding border.

Studio Donegal Darnie 100% lambswool - 2 skeins cream (8813), 1 skein dark grey (8814), 1 skein oatmeal (8812) - is used in the pattern sample.
