You may have already seen the pattern in french, but here is finally the english version.

You can use any yarn you want, with the appropriate crochet hook of course. The finished donkey will be taller or smaller, depending on the yarn you choose. No need for a gauge here.

The one on the picture measures approximatively 9 inches. It has been made with a french yarn named Bergère de france, quality Barisienne, and a crochet hook n°3,5.
