Perky Poncho
Perk up an outfit with this fun, easy to crochet poncho.
I love autumn. I love wearing crochet accessories. In my neck of the woods, autumn can be anything from T-shirt to Turtleneck weather – sometimes overnight. The open stitch pattern of this poncho gives a pop of color without being a heavyweight outer layer. Use wools for a fall/winter piece or cottons for a spring/summer piece. The open mesh can be left as is, or can be embellished by weaving in some fancy ribbon or contrasting yarn.
Uses ch, sc, dc, a couple of V-sts (which are really a combination of dc & ch).
No seams to sew! Lots of straight rows! Collar is worked as part of the piece.
