Permafrost
Designed by Courtney Kelley, this triangular shawl featuring Tundra in taiga is a great and stylish accessory for winter. The picot edge, knit as you go, adds a little bit of interest to a basic garter stitch triangle - perfect for a beginner looking to add an easy new technique to their repertoire.
YARN: The Fibre Co. Tundra (60% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 10% silk; 120 yds/100 gm skein): taiga, 2 skeins.
GAUGE: 9 sts + 17 rows = 4” in garter st, after blocking.
NEEDLE: 1 - 24” US 11 (8 mm) circs, or size to obtain gauge.
SIZE: 26” circumference, 12” height.
