Pernille’s Cable Suit is a cute and quickly knitted suit, decorated with cables and moss stitch. The belt around the waist is knitted first, and the rest of the suit is knitted from this belt. To achieve the best result, I recommend using a provisional cast-on for the belt, then sowing it together using the Kitchener stitch. An alternative method would be to cast on in the usual way, then bind off and sow together, but the seam in the belt will be more noticeable.

The measurements for the belt and the suit are approximate and can be adjusted to fit the individual child’s measurements. Remember to adjust the buttonholes and side markers accordingly.
