Perry is a crochet net bag that can be used either as a shopping bag or as a beach bag. The body is first worked flat to create the base, then worked in the round to create height. The strap is worked separately and sewn end to end to create a loop, which is then attached to the body of the bag.

This pattern includes both written and charted instructions, and uses the following techniques:
⁃ chains, single crochet, double crochet, cluster double crochet, thermal stitch
⁃ crocheting in the round
⁃ basic hand sewing (back stitching)

Gauge: 5 inch x 5 inch in double crochet cluster mesh = 10 columns x 9 rows of mesh squares

⁃ 100 g / 250 m DK cotton yarn for strap
⁃ 25 g / 60 m DK cotton yarn for contrast stitching (may be same color as bag body)
