THIS WRAP designed by Kristin Blom was inspired by summer evenings, and has a vintage feel. It features a pattern of slipped stitches combined with stripes and small cable details; the stripe pattern of blue and white includes a single accent stripe in red. “This wrap offers enough pattern to keep you entertained, but is repetitive enough to be fun and easy to make as well,” says Kristin. Her sample is knitted in Rowan’s soft Summerlite 4ply cotton yarn. “Due to the tension worked to, the fabric is not very dense, giving the wrap a very nice drape,” Kristin explains.
