Persephone
by Claire Ellen
A great cardigan for springtime, or any time when a coverup is a nice idea. I live near the ocean, so my niece wears hers on foggy mornings.
The pattern is written out, with simple charts for the lace patterns. It also involves a picot hem and raglan panels at the sleeve. It is worked from the bottom up. Sleeves are knit separately (on DPNs) and joined to the body at the armpit.
Additional materials include small buttons and 1.5 yards of 3/8ths inch grosgrain (or your choice) ribbon.
