The Persephone Shawl is an asymmetrical triangle shaped shawl worked in a triangular mesh pattern built from the bottom up by alternating chain rows with cluster rows. The shawl utilizes sections of colors from 3 different Wool-Ease cakes colorways – ATHENA, APOLLO, and HADES.

In Greek mythology, Persephone is known as the Goddess of Spring - this shawl’s colors represent the transition from Winter to Spring. The shawl begins with the grays and browns of Winter (ATHENA colorway) transitioning to the warm greens and golds of Spring (APOLLO colorway), and finally to the purples and pinks that arrive with the first flowers of Spring (HADES colorway).
