Persephone's Pomegranates
by SpillyJane
You’ll find these mitts at the exact point where Greek myth and William Morris meet. A triple trio of pomegranates, framed by their leaves, remind us that you need Winter to have Spring and that warmer days are always just around the corner.
Instructions are provided in this pattern to produce both regular and fingerless mittens, so you can have your pomegranates with you for nearly all of the seasons.
This pattern contains simple colourwork and as such is uniquely suited to those who have never tried the technique before. Go on, colourwork is not as hard as you may think!
