Persian Buttercup Pillow Cover is great stash busting pattern that you can use to make any square crochet pillow cover and use it to decorate your home and your creative corner.

SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE
The textured is created mainly using front and back post crochet stitches, as well as by working in the back loops of the stitches.

YARN: #5 Chunky / Bulky. I used Hayfield Bonus Chunky Tweed in following colors:

C1: 790 Dark Grey Mix, approximately 380 m (415.6 yds) - 1 skein
C2: 814 Light Grey Mix, approximately 380 m (415.6 yds) - 1 skein
C3: 568 Grape, approximately 500 m (546.8 yds) - 1 skein

HOOK: 7 mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE: 10 sts x 5 rows of dc = 10 cm (4’’)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
For 35 cm (13.8’’) X 35 cm (13.8’’) pillow
Pillow cover approximately: 48 cm / 18.9’’ long X 29 cm / 11.4’’ high when laid flat

CONSTRUCTION
The pillow cover is worked in rounds, joined with a slip stitch without turning and in one piece without increasing or decreasing.
The shape of the pillow cover is a rectangle. The length of the longer side equals the length of the diagonal of the square pillow.
