This is a pretty quick knit. It is a great pattern for a beginner to learn lots of basic skills and end up with a beautiful (rather than boring) project.

The pattern is written in two colors but could be done all in one with the border matching the body.

If done in two colors, you will need approximately 600 yards of the MC and 300 of the CC (really less, but I don’t know exactly how much since the Caron comes in large skeins)
