This versatile pattern can be used to produce a top, a neckie or even a skinny scarf (casting on half the stitches).

The garment is worked flat knitting sideways and joining the edges with a Kitchener seam.

A 4st cord is used as a strap.

I think it can also look nice knitted multicolour with leftovers.
