Have you tried your hands at making an Amigurumi before? Here is a cute pattern to get you started, meet Peru the Llama. The Llama is created from 9 pieces: body/head, 4 legs, tail, nose, 2 ears. The Llama is made from the bottom up. For the eyes we use safety eyes. To create the pompoms, we use a pompom maker. The other material we will need is stuffing. The yarn we use is the Red Heart Super Saver yarn – 100% acrylic – medium 4 (worsted). The color yarns we use are Aran and Cornmeal. The approximate finished measurement of our Llama 7” tall (from head to legs without ears), 4 1/2” wide side to side of the body (with stuffing inserted). The Llama comes in only one size. Keep in mind if you change the size of the hook, it will affect the measurements of your finished amigurumi. Give it a try and see how yours comes out.
