The Perulana Hat uses one skein of Gedifra Perulana yarn, beginning on size US 11 needles, changing to size US 17 after a 5-round ribbing. The chevron texture is incorporated in the next 6 rows, and the hat finishes off in stockinette stitch. There’s just enough pattern to challenge new knitters and, with the addition of a big, bright pom pom (we used a TOFT UK alpaca pom), we find the final effect to be pleasing.
