This pattern is based on a traditional peruvian flap hat. I have added the panda motif to make it special but it could easily be knitted with another motif or in stripes. The pattern will suit both males and females and can be adapted to fot a child by decreasing the number of stitches used. It is lovely and warm for those cold winter days. The panda legwarmers go well with the hat.
