Pervinca Sweater Top
The PERVINCA sweater-top is a made-to-measure knitting pattern that is constructed from the top down with raglan increases. The pattern has instructions on how to adjust it to different yarn types based on your gauge!
The body is worked flat, and the sleeves are worked in the round.
The right side and the left side of the sweater are worked separately and then joined after the front opening in the middle. The yoke is then worked flat until the division of the sleeves. After the division of the sleeves, the body is worked flat to form the opening in the back.
The sleeves are worked in the round with increases to form the bell shape.
The neckline and the sides of the opening in the back are finished with a 4 stitches i-cord.
The back ties are worked with a 4 stitches i-cord and then joined to the i-cord edge of the sweater.
The front ties are worked with a 2 stitches i-cord.
By purchasing you will get a PDF copy of the Pervinca Sweater-top pattern and the testers’ lookbook!
Skill level:
Advanced beginner/ Intermediate
Materials:
• 80 cm circular needles.
• Double-pointed needles or short circular needles for the i-cord.
• Stitch markers.
• Darning needle.
• Measurement tape.
• Yarn:
o I used Hobbii Kind Feathers (light, type 3 yarn)
Main color: lavender (12) – I used about 2.5 skeins.
Contrast color: light green (21) – I used about 1 skein.
o I used 5 mm needles. The fabric is intended to be flowy, for
this reason, I suggest using a bigger needle size than the
one recommended for the yarn that you use.
