Pet Triffid
BEWARE THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS!!!! HAVE YOUR OWN PET TRIFFID READY TO PROTECT YOU
This fun, 13 inch high knitted Triffid plant, will be a talking point for all who see it.
You can of course make the Triffid any colour you like.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A TOY AND IS MEANT FOR DECORATION ONLY
The pattern is easy to follow with many helpful photos. It can be adapted in so many ways to make it a OAK with very little effort
Materials needed
Dk yarns in the following colours and quantities.
Medium brown 25g
Scraps of 4 different shades of green
Cream less than 10g
Yellow scrap
3 & 4 mm needles
8mm plastic toy eye (optional)
Florist or jewellery making wire
approximately 0.50mm – 0.75mm gauge (Optional)
Green chenille sticks
Bamboo cane or stick no more 5mm wide by 9 inches long
Flower pot, approximately 12 inches in diameter and 4 inches high
