There are two different versions of the cushion. Design A has an all-over petal pattern and Design B alternates the background and motif colours to give a tiled effect. One day I would love to see Design B done in a number of different colours.

Petal Cushion, designed by Judith of Needlecase, using Bluefaced Leicester wool from West Yorkshire Spinners.

I feel that this contemporary design will look well in any home. I like to use a neutral background and add colour in the motifs.

The finished cushion can be washed carefully by hand at 30 degrees, should you need to do so.

The pattern is easy to follow for those with some knitting experience or those wishing to learn the fair isle technique.

I hope you love it as much as I do.
