“Petal Peplum Bolero’ Infant.

The Petal Peplum Bolero is a sweet mid season bolero style cardigan with a pretty Petal inspired peplum.

It is perfect for a confident beginner and experienced knitter alike. It is constructed in one piece and works up quickly with a small quantity of yarn.

The instructions include a unisex version without the peplum

Materials:
100-150m 8ply/DK
Samples shown use Cleckheaton Super fine merino.

Needles:
4mm 60cm circular needles. (Needle size needed may vary to achieve correct gauge)

Gauge:
10x10cm in stockinette = 22 sts x 30 rows.

Notions:
8 stitch markers
Darning needle
15mm button

Stitch Legend:
st/s: Stitch/es
co: Cast on
sl1p: Slip 1 stitch purlwise
pm: Place marker
sm: Slip marker
rm: Remove marker
k: Knit
p: Purl
kfb: Knit front back- knit into the front and back of the same stitch
k2tog: Knit two together
tbl : Through back loop- knit into the back loop of the stitch

Sizes:
Please note ages are guidelines only please check chest circumference and torso length. The bolero is sized to be midriff.

Length- measured from centre back
Newborn: 18.5
3m: 20.5
6m: 21.5
12m: 22.5

Width-
measured flat under arm hole to arm hole across front
Newborn: 19cm
3m: 21cm
6m: 21.5cm
12m: 22cm
