About The Pattern:
This is a simple little pattern in which you will create a scrubby that is the perfect size for removing eye makeup and mascara. The finished size of a scrubby is approximately 5” in diameter. This size is very versatile and can be used for washing your face as well as your body in the bath or shower. The scrubby has a slight cupped shape to it due to the petals, which makes it very nice to hold in the hand and more practical to use than a flat make up removal pad or face cloth. It also is very soft and has a nice texture which helps to more effectively remove make up and clean your skin.

To remove mascara wet the scrubby with warm water and gently run the edge of the scrubby along your eyelashes. You may also use a small amount of your favourite facial cleanser to do this, just be careful not to get it into your eyes. Do not rub onto the skin around the eyes when taking off of the mascara; the scrubby will gently pull the mascara from your eyelashes without smudging it on the skin around your eyes. To remove eye shadow and other makeup apply your favourite gentle facial cleanser to the wet scrubby and very lightly run the scrubby over your skin, the make up will come off easily.

These scrubbies are environmentally friendly as they are washable and reusable. They are soft, durable and resist staining and may be washed and reused many times which helps to reduce the waste of disposable make up removal pads and also saves you money.

These scrubbies make perfect gifts, adding a pretty and practical handmade touch either when given as the main gift or included as part of a gift package. You may use the scrubbies to replace bows on your gifts and create unique and reusable gifting décor.

To make a nice, simple gift package tie satin ribbon or some raffia around several of the scrubbies.

Another creative packaging suggestion is to put them into a plain glass mason jar with a lid. Add a bow with ribbon or raffia around the top of the jar for extra decoration.

A nice gift package idea includes several of the scrubbies with a special liquid or bar soap, scented bath salts or bubble bath and candles. Make the gift extra special by adding wine and chocolates!
