Petal Scarf
Petal Scarf is a fun to knit scarf that uses dropped stitches at the end to create a dainty lace look.
The petal pattern is created by a combination of knit and purl stitches. I love knitting patterns that include nature. The shapes seem to urge you on and the pattern allows the knitter to determine the best length for them.
Each ball of yarn creates 4 petal sections. Use 2 balls to create a scarf approximately 72 inches long or use 3 for a super long scarf.
The pattern is fairly easy to master. The Frog Tree yarn was suggested by Eva in Eva’s yarn shop and it was a true joy to work with. Any worsted weight yarn can be used for this project or select a different weight yarn and change the needle size.
