This doily features a flower and lots of petals spreading out, hence the name Petal Sprinkled. It looks pretty in both solid color as well as gradient yarn. The doily in the images is done with Size 3 mercerized thread.

Size of the finished doily in diameter across the end points :-

With Size 20 thread and 1.5 mm hook -- 10.5 inches
With Anchor knitting cotton (size 3) and 2.75 mm hook -- 16 inches

Yardage: 320 - 350 meters / 350 - 380 yards

Note: Any thread with above yardage can be used. The doily size will vary accordingly and as per your tension. Since the pattern is continuous, a gradient yarn within the yardage specifies is preferable

Round 5 (Total Count): 16 FPDC instead of 16 FPTR
Round 14 (Total Count): 16 CH-1 spaces instead of 8 Ch-1 spaces
Round 20 (Description): DC in next SDC instead of DC in next DC

Apart from this, here is an explanation to round 9 :
sc3tog with next 3 DC stitches: It means sc3tog over next 3 DC stitches that were made in previous round. It is a SC decrease stitch in this round which is as per design requirement. Don’t mistake it for dc3tog
