Petales des Fleurs (Flower Petals)
Materials: Your choice of yarn. Sock, sport or DK weight recommended with appropriate sized hook.
In the example shown here, a 2 ply yarn was used with a 2.25mm hook. Completed dimensions for this scarf were: 5” x 33” (12.5 x 84cm) with 3 motifs forming the width of the scarf (child’s size).
To make the scarf suitable for an adult, simply add more motifs to width and length or change the ply of the yarn and use a larger hook.
Yarn quantity: approx. 50g (340m / 372 yards) 2 ply yarn for the same dimensions as shown in the example.
Gauge: Gauge is not critical for this project, although a tighter tension will result in denser motifs.
