Recommended Yarn & Quantity

2 x African Expressions Freedom
50g/100m 75% Wool, 25% Acrylic
This is a DK yarn, US weight 3
Colour used: 5079 which is a deep teal.
It is possible to substitute with any similar yarn. Should you wish to use a thicker or thinner yarn the number of shells and rounds will be affected. Substitutions must keep stretchiness in mind.

Hooks & Notions

4mm crochet hook, measuring tape, scissors and tapestry needle for sewing in ends.

Gauge

If using the same or similar yarn, you measurements should be similar to those given throughout the pattern.

Notes

This beanie is worked in the round with RS facing throughout. Rounds are joined.
If using the double magic ring it is still very important to weave in the ends properly.
