Petals and pearls baby set
This adorable little set is inspired from my https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/petals-and-pearl.... Wouldn’t it be cute with a set for mother/grandmother/friend and baby:)
The set consist of a vest with buttoned shoulders, and a bonnet with mitred corners. Both items features lace-patterns.
Both items are completely seamless. Both items are worked in Lichen and Laces “1-ply fingering weight merino superwash”. Any fingering weight yarn that works up to gauge might be used.
The vest
The lower body of the vest is worked bottom-up, and in-the-round, starting from a ribbed hem, followed by a centred lace-pattern over front, and stockinette on the back and sides. At underarms work is split, and front and back are continued back-and-forth in separate pieces. The button-bands at shoulders are integrated in the knitting. Armhole, and neck-edges are worked from picked-up sts.
