The Petals on the Pavement Shawl uses simple stitches to create a big impact. Worked from the top down, the pattern features an easy six-row repeat that makes for perfectly mindless crocheting. Stitch markers are used to keep track of increases to minimize the need for counting and the pattern is accessible even to a brand new crocheter.

The five-sectioned shawl is designed to curve upwards to fit around the neck comfortably. It can be wrapped to offer snuggly warmth, but the Petals on the Pavement Shawl also drapes beautifully and the delicate texture makes it a gorgeous accessory perfect for dressing up any outfit.

Single ply yarn makes the textured stitches pop and the pattern is ideal for speckles, tonals, gradients, or kettle dyed yarn. The stitch pattern also minimizes pooling with most variegated options.
