This hat was made to support Pete Buttigieg for President in 2020! This is not an official PFA account or product. Funds do not go directly to the campaign, but any purchases make my own personal donations possible.

I am putting this as a free pattern, but please use this link to donate at least $5.00 when you download this pattern to support Mayor Pete Buttigieg! If you don’t mind, drop me a note to show your donation! I’d like to thank you personally and try to keep up with how much money has been raised. Thanks!

For yarn colors in the pictured beanie I used Caron Simply Soft Sunshine and For Color B I used Caron Simply Soft Country Blue.

I worked it with size 6 16in circular knitting needles with a 20 stitches x 26 rows = 4.5” square in stockinette stitch. This produces a hat with a brim circumference of about 23.5 inches. This seems to be about a medium size fit. For different sizes simply size up or down.

One skein each of both color A and color B seemed to make about 4 of the beanies when alternating colors (ex. with blue being color A first and gold being color A for the next beanie).

This is my first ever knitting pattern design so please email me with any questions, comments, or concerns (but please be gentle!) !
