This button panel onesie mimics the look of Beatrix Potter’s classic character of Peter Rabbit. Designed to be easy on and easy off this button panel onesie is designed specifically as a newborn photography prop - but would make a cute gift as well! It is all worked in one piece from the top down and back up the front - jacket and bunny. It is all knit flat with no seams - unless you choose to do the long sleeves - they can be knit flat and seamed or knit in the round.

It also includes a simple bunny bonnet as well to make the look complete. (some sample photos have a hat with felted ears - the pattern included is with the knitted ears in the last photo)

This is an intermediate pattern that uses provisional cast on, increasing and decreasing, and a small amount of color work.

Sample was worked using one strand of Chamonix held together with one strand of El Cielo to give it a soft, fuzzy halo without compromising coverage so that it can be worn over a diaper if desired.

This has been tested by several of my amazing testers, but please let me know if you find any errors in the pattern so that I can make it better!
