Inspired on Peter Rabbit, this is the main character of a series of story books, movies and cartoons, based on the book by the author Beatrix Potter.

Materials

• Worsted Acrylic (4). 160grs for the main colour and 50grs for contrasting colour. Another option is any natural wool blend yarn, since the idea it’s to brush the pieces to give them the characteristic rabbit fur texture
• Small amounts of pink yarn for the ears and nose (6grs)
• Fingering yarn (2). blue, for his jacket. In my case i have chosen to go with cotton, but any type of yarn on this thickness will do. Approximately 50grs.
• 2.75mm (C) hook, or appropiate hook size to work with the yarn you have chosen.
• Stuffing.
• 16mm safety eyes

Using the materials listed here, results in a Peter Rabbit amigumii 43cm (17’’) tall. Your dimensions may vary depending on the yarn weight and hook size you decide to use.

Difficulty rating: Advanced beginner. (4 stars out of 5)
Colour changes in the round; asymmetric rounds, brushed pieces, join as you go pieces, precise sewing.

The pattern: The original pattern has 50 pages, full colour. Plenty pics and schemes. It comes with a printer friendly version, with almost no pics and black and white, to save ink and paper.

• Acrílico Worsted (4). 160grs para el color principal y 50grs para el color secundario. También puedes utilizar cualquier hilado de lana natural, ya que la idea es cepillar el tejido después para darle textura de piel de conejo.
• Pequeñas cantidades de hilado rosado para las orejas y nariz. (6grs)
• Fingering (2). azul, para su campera. En mi caso utilicé algodón pero cualquier tipo de hilado servirá para esto. Aproximadamente 50grs.
• Ganchillo 2.75mm (C) o la medida adecuada para trabajar con el hilado que hayas elegido.
• Vellón para rellenar.
• Ojos de seguridad: 16mm

Usando los materiales aquí listados, el resultado es un Peter Rabbit amigurumi de 43cm (17’’) de alto. Tus dimensiones pueden variar dependiendo del hilado y ganchillo que decidas utilizar.
