This fun and quick project makes a perfect small banner for your home or party. Choose one color for your flags, or make them all different! This is a perfect way to use up those sock yarn leftovers.

pattern makes a bunting with an 84” (7ft, 213cm) cord, and 9 - 3” wide x 3.5” tall (7.6 x 8.9cm) flags

Customize to your needs.

yarn:
Fingering weight/4-ply
Hanging cord: 10g/46 yards
flags: each flag needs approx. 2g/10 yards of yarn.

gauge:
32 sts x 48 rows = 4î/10 cm
in stockinette stitch and blocked.

Gauge is not critical for this project, but differences will affect final measurements and yardage used.

needles:
US 2/2.75 mm needles, or 
size required to obtain gauge

double pointed or circular needles are needed to knit the i-cord
