Petrichor means the smell of earth after rain… The colors used reminds me of fall showers.

For this pattern, you will need one skein each of I love this yarn in cinnamon cedar and linen. You will have yarn left over. You’ll need a 8.0mm hook. It works up really fast.

This cowl can be made with a 5-weight bulky yarn as well. I just liked the colors that I found in 4-weight. You will use the same 8.0mm hook.

Crochet loosely!!! This is a cowl and not a shawl! It’s meant to be worn under a coat or jacket. If you are plus size, like me, it will not cover your shoulders like it does on the small mannequin.
