One of my most frequent stage experiences as a child was as a Highland Dancer. After the high-energy exertions of the Highland Fling and Sword dances, it was a always relaxing contrast to perform the dainty Petronella with my dancing friends. These were the thoughts in mind for this flattering and feminine design. I created a simple ruffle edging to compliment the sleek, fitted Stocking Stitch cardigan.
