Pattern uses ch, sl st, sc, hdc, dc, and other special stitches explained in the pattern. Pattern uses basic embroidery and sewing techniques.

Skill level: Intermediate.

Requires:
-Larger hook size: 1 size smaller than recommended for yarn chosen.
-Smaller hook size: 2 sizes smaller than recommended for yarn chosen.
-Yarn needle
-White thread and needle, cat only
-Polyfil
-Stitch markers

Worsted weight yarn:
Yarn Any yarn weight will work, but keep the weight consistent throughout the same animal. Yarn amounts will vary depending on yarn weight used.:
-Bunny: White, pink, black
-Cat: Black, pink, gold
-Dog: light brown, dark brown, black, pink
-Frog: Green, light green, black
-Turtle: Green, medium brown, dark brown, black

Samples are made with worsted weight yarn. Each sample animal uses approximately ½ oz./14 g (26 yds/24 m) yarn and uses size US H-8 5.00mm and G-6 4.25mm crochet hooks. Each animal is approximately 3½“-5.5”/8.25-14 cm tall.
