Petulant
Why be like all the rest when you can be different?
So what if the others start at the back of the neck with a few stitches and slowly grow? My mother always told me: “it would be a very boring world if we were all the same!” Let them whisper about me behind my back, I don’t care! Start me with a long row at the top, and work me down to a single shell at the bottom point, expanding shell sizes, not row sizes! So what if I don’t “play well with others” - I’m proud, and brave, and bold, and the HECK WITH THOSE OTHER SHAWLS! Just give me a little updraft, and I’m ready to fly right over them!
