Materials:
Less than 100 grams of fingering weight sock yarn (wool, cotton or bamboo) with 440-460 yards/100 grams. I used 62 grams of scraps (Regia, Opal, Meilenweit…) for this vest (pictured in size M). I recommend machine washable yarns for baby garments.
2.5mm/US #1.5 needles (double pointed needles if you make an applied I-cord)

Sizes:
The pattern is written for size S / 0-3 months and size M / 3-6 months. Instructions for size M are in brackets. It‘s easy to adjust to bigger sizes.

Notes:
The vest is knitted in garter stitch (Knit Right side and knit Wrong side). You knit the vest in one piece. You only have to sew the shoulders!
