Phi for You
Phi for You is super special and the result of one of the most interesting collaborations I have ever worked on! I designed a top-down Half-Pi Shawl with crescent shaping and then Cat from Caterpillargreen took my spreadsheet and dyed self-striping yarn for it based on the Golden Ratio (Phi). AMAZING!
You can either use the self-striping shawl yarn that was dyed JUST FOR IT , one of Caterpillargreen’s regular shawl striping yarns, or another yarn in your stash.

The knitting of Phi for You is relatively simple… I wanted the color to be doing all the work here… there are little touches, like an integrated i-cord edging with elongated stitches so it doesn’t get tight, and an intriguing beaded bottom border that makes me feel a little swoony with it’s simple elegance…
Knitters: Make sure you read the notes about gauge closely, this is a very important part of having a successful experience knitting Phi for You. Also, go read this blog post about working gauge!
