This child’s 8ply set in sleeve cardigan is knitted in three colours. It has a round neck, 1x1 rib bands and striped sleeves.

My cardigan has been knitted in ‘girly’ colours but it would look equally striking in blue tones, or a black-grey-white combination.

Yarn required: Carnival 8ply Double Knitting Yarn, 100g balls@310m.
1 (2-3-3) balls Main Colour (MC).
1 (1-2-2) balls 1st Contrast (C1).
1 (1-2-2) balls 2nd Contrast (C2).

Needles required: A pair of 4.00mm UK 8, US 6 knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing up.

Other requirements: A stitch holders; 7 (7-8-8) buttons.
