The Phoenix Tube Top is a tube top with an elastic around the top, knitted inside the hem. It includes two different options/variations to make decreases on the sides.
I have written this pattern including pictures guiding you step by step, it’s very detailed which makes it easier for beginners too.

There are 2 options to make the decreases on the sides: a triangular (option 1) and a diagonal way (option 2).

MATERIAL:
-Circular knitting needles: 3.5 mm
-Yarn: Size 3 - Light (DK, Light worsted)
-Yarn Used: 100% cotton in Beige ‘Brazil 2’ by Mafil; 100% Cotton in Dark Blue ‘Egypto 2’ by Mafil.
-a Flat Elastic (same color as yarn or similar), Needle and Thread to sew the elastic.

GAUGE (worked in K6, P1 as pattern and blocked):
10cm (4”) in length x 6cm (2.4”) in height = 22 sts x 20 rows
