Have you ever dropped your phone and wish it had more protection? Have you ever stored your phone in your handbag and it’s got covered in make up or some unidentifiable substance?

Then your phone needs a Stocking!

This pattern has been designed to accompany my ‘A Yarntastic Guide to Knitting’ over on my blog, My Yarntastic Adventures. This pattern was designed to follow on from ‘Lesson 2: Purl Stitch’.

The Sock Stocking is so named as a play on words - the main body (or ‘leg’) of the piece is worked in stocking stitch.

The Stocking is knit in one piece and flat and then seamed.

The size is fully adjustable with the method to do this included in the pattern. It can be sized up or down for any size of mobile device.

There are also other suggestions for customising the Stocking too - so more advanced knitters can use this pattern as a blank canvas!
