YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN PICTURES, BUT ALSO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DRAWINGS OF YOUR CHILDREN, OR PHOTOS STORED IN YOUR COMPUTER

This tutorial describes step by step different techniques: you can work with printed photos and drawings, or follow the instructions on how to insert your digital photo in my word file, where you’ll find the scheme: after that you’ll just print it on paper.

This technique is perfect is you wish to hang your most beloved pictures, but you may also create GREETING CARDS, tags and LABELS FOR PRESENTS for presents, or a BOOKMARK!

TECHNICAL DETAILS
The crocheted border is very simple, BEGINNER level
Really fast job: it will take APPROX 1 HOUR

Stitches:

• Chain
• Single Crochet
• Half double crochet
• Double crochet
• Picot

Material Needed:

• Yarn: I recommend cotton, or a light wool (maybe with some lurex), depending on the subject. The color should be chosen matching it to the photo. You can use more than 1 color. You’ll need a very small quantity, so you can use also some left yarn..
• Hook: nr 2 mm (maximum 2.5 mm)
• Large needle
• little pointed scissors
• Paper, glue and large scissors
• Optional: pencil and a ruler
• Photo / image: the best results are obtained with pictures where the subject is in the center of the picture
