Finding a pattern for a single skein of yarn can be difficult. When I purchased this gorgeous cotton yarn from Juniper Moon Farm, they only had one available so I wanted to make something with it that I would cherish year round not just in the winter or when the opportunity arose to wear a shawlette.

Baskets and bags get used a lot by me so it was a no brainer.

This pouch or drawstring bag does not include instructions for a strap but you can easily add one. I wanted a bag big enough to hold my current WIP or stash some items I like to keep nearby so I didn’t really need a handle.

Materials Used-
250 yds of Worsted Weight Yarn to make the same size I made and without a crocheted strap- I used Juniper Moon Farm Cumulus Rainbow in Great Reef. It is 94% Mako Cotton and 6% Nylon.

6mm/J Crochet Hook. Gauge is not important for this project however be aware that using a smaller hook or yarn will result in a smaller finished item and using a bigger hook and/or yarn will make a larger item. Yardage may also be affected.
