Phyllis is a simple yet sophisticated crescent-shaped shawlette, perfect for that precious skein of fingering weight yarn that you’ve been saving for something special.

With a stocking stitch body, a zigzag lace border and delicate picot edging, Phyllis has been designed with curved tips that create a pretty waterfall effect when worn loose around the shoulders (instructions are given to omit the curved tips, if desired).

Quick to knit, and even easier to wear, Phyllis provides maximum impact for minimal effort.

The length of the body is calculated using a percentage of the available yarn; therefore gauge is not critical.

The sample shown measured 56 1/2” from tip to tip, and 15 1/2” deep after blocking.

Instructions are provided in both written and charted format.

This pattern has been professionally tech-edited.
