Pi Bottom Bottle Bag
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
The Pi Bottom Bottle Bag makes it easy to carry a heavy bottle such as wine or 2 liter soda bottles. You can also carry a long loaf of bread without squashing it.
Gauge is not critical, but the Pi botton is approx. 3 inches across.
To make this bag you will need access to the Pithy Directions: Plain Shawl, Circular from Elizabeth Zimmerman’s book Knitters Almanac.
This bag is quick to knit and uses less than one 2 oz. ball of yarn. There is miminal finishing, just a three needle bind off and weaving in ends.
Bonus: Quick instructions for making a drawstring bag from this basic pattern are included. The drawstring bag uses less yarn.
