Pi Hat
Elizabeth Zimmerman, Knitting Goddess extraordinaire, gave the world the Pi Shawl formula, but since we wanted a quick project, we adapted the formula to a sweet tam style hat. The formula is easy and so are the lace stitches! With 1 strand of Frog Tree Alpaca Sport and 2 strands of Kidsilk Haze held together throughout, the Pi Hat is airy yet warm, squishy yet light, and oh, so soft and pretty.
This hat requires 1 skein of Frog Tree Alpaca Sport and 1 skein of Kidsilk Haze.
NOTE: The gauge on this project is difficult to measure due to the spiral direction of the lace stitching. Please trust that it will all come out right in the blocking.
