Pia participe à la fête des lanternes avec ses amis et sa famille. C’est sa période préférée de l’année. Elle a fabriqué elle-même sa lanterne et l’a décorée de feuilles d’automne. Elle trouve que c’est beau quand tout le monde défile ensemble dans les rues avec ces lumières colorées.

EN - Crochet pattern to make Pia the squirrel with her lantern

Pia participates in the Lantern Festival with her friends and family. It is her favorite time of the year. She made her own lantern and decorated it with autumn leaves. She thinks it’s beautiful to see these colorful lights while everyone parades together in the streets.

░ Intermediate level ░

You need to know how to make a magic ring, single crochet, slip stitch, chain, half double crochet, crochet in the back loop only, increase, decrease and change colors.

░ Size ░

Approx. 21 cm.
The size of your Amigurumi may change depending on the yarn and hook you choose.

░ Materials ░

◦ Cotton yarn in the color of your choice. I used “Fonty Bohème” in :

• For the body : orange or light brown
• For the snout : beige
• For the jacket : yellow or light blue
• For the hat : green or dark blue
• For embroidered details: small amount of black and pink ◦ A 2,5 mm crochet hook (or a hook that is suitable for the yarn you have chosen) ◦ A pair of scissors ◦ A tapestry needle ◦ Stuffing (fiberfill) ◦ A stitch marker (or a piece of yarn in a contrasting color)

Note: You can use any yarn you wish, just keep in mind that you’ll need to adapt your crochet hook size, and that the finished Amigurumi size will vary.
